Malaysia

The former colonial outpost of Malaysia offers visitors a totally distinctive travel experience – This is a destination which can boast a rich cultural montage that embraces diversity and celebrates it in unison. This is a true melting pot of races and religions, living in harmony, sharing and enjoying one another's cultural events and culinary delicacies. This is a nation looking to the future while cherishing the ways of the past. As you travel through Peninsular Malaysia you will experience a country of extreme contrasts; gleaming modern towering skyscrapers look down upon simple wooden stilted houses, luxury tropical island resorts and endless white, sandy beaches offer a taste of paradise, while beneath warm coral seas, world-class dive sites await exploration. The hustle and bustle of the modern world stands alongside age-old tropical rain forests home to ancient tribes and diverse wildlife like the gentle Orang-utans. This is truly a vibrant country with a rich cultural heritage which combines eastern influence with Asian style. Malaysia will surprise you with its layers of colourful culture.
