Victoria Falls

After a fascinating journey through South Africa what could be more wonderful than to take a side trip to the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls.  Originally named Mosi oa Tunya, "the Smoke that Thunders", by the locals; these Magnificent Falls are unquestionably a "must see", the waterfall measures over a mile across and is considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Victoria Falls results as the Zambezi River crashes into a natural gorge below.

During the three day extension there will be plenty of time to cool down in the refreshing fine spray of the mighty Victoria Falls. Take an unforgettable "angel flight" to get a superior aerial view, enjoy a relaxing drink as you cruise down the Zambezi River and enjoy the stunning African sunset and witness the marvelous nighttime lunar rainbow as it gracefully arches over the falls in the clear moonlight.
