Beyond the Clouds - Itinerary

Day 1: Kunming

Arrive in Kunming and transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Stone Forest

A day tour to the enchanting Stone Forest, one of China's most beguiling natural phenomena. Towering peaks of bizarrely shaped limestone, some as high as six storeys cover a sprawling area of 26,000 hectares. (B,L)

Three Pagodas, Dali

Day 3: Kuming/Dail

Fly to Dali. Known as the Marble City, this 600-year-old city exudes a sense of tranquility. A full day tour of the city including the 3 pagodas, Erhai Park and Xishou Village. (B,L)

Day 4: Dali/Lijiang

Drive to Lijiang. A tour will include Black Dragon Pool, a park on the northern edge of town, and a visit to the local Naxi market. (B,L)

Day 5: Lijiang

A full day tour to Yufeng Temple and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Yufeng Temple is a small monastery at the foot of the mountain whose main attraction is the 10,000-flower camellia tree. (B,L)

Day 6: Lijiang/Kunming

At leisure in the morning before flying to Kunming and connect your onward flight. (B)
